Ken Whiting has committed his professional life to working within the recreational, leisure-time, and restaurant industries, focusing on strategic sales building programs, customer service initiatives, and the motivating and training of a large entry-level workforce. He has spent nearly 30 years, in the trenches, managing his family’s food service business at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, and Fair & Festival business unit. Ken also consults with similar types of businesses, providing cost effective solutions to growing revenue and decreasing costs.

Lenny Freund is a highly successful, twenty-six year veteran of the entertainment industry with deep experience in general management, major capital expansions, and in-park revenue with special emphasis in leisure food service development and management. Currently Mr. Freund is the owner and operator of Freund Family Foods, a traveling concession company providing food and beverage service to some of the country’s largest fairs, festivals and special events. Mr. Freund also provides food service consulting services to the leisure recreation industry.

Recently Mr. Freund spent ten years with Six Flags Theme Parks in three separate locations, initially as Director of Revenue at Six Flags New England, then promoted to Vice President/General Manager of Frontier City and White Water Bay in Oklahoma City, OK, and transferred to Six Flags’ Wild Waves and Enchanted Village in Seattle, WA. Previous to joining Six Flags, Mr. Freund performed as the Director of Food Service at Schlitterbahn Water Park Resort in New Braunfels, TX. Before joining Schlitterbahn Mr. Freund spent ten years at Dorney Park and Wild Water Kingdom in Allentown, PA, as Director of Food Service. Mr. Freund has been married for twenty years and, along with his wife, Sue, has seven children.
